Greetings and Salutations! New fan here, and an interesting story to boot. My wife and I are big Munchkin fans. Her favorite card in the franchise is the Perfectly Ordinary Bunny Rabbit. For her birthday I offered to buy her a tattoo and she decided on the killer rabbit. She told me it was strangely familiar to her and loved it. One day we decided to do some research on it and Lo and Behold it is Bun-Bun! This triggered her to remember she used to read Sluggy many years ago and had fallen away from it and forgot all about it. Needless to say, she is once again a rabid fan! Now my mission for her next birthday is to find a Bun-Bun plushie. :) Thanks for listening and keep up the awesomeness!

Welcome to the forum Paladintim!

Yeah, that is an interesting story after all. Just don't go and forget again.

The plushy is probably going to be pretty difficult to find unless Pete has someone make them again. I luckily was finally able to get my hands on one not that long ago by checking eBay for years. Though you never know how your luck may go.

Anyway [member's name here], now I will tell you about the strange tradition aimed at newcomers.

At one time there were Pesterers who pestered you for poetry, but that tends to be very rare nowadays. Even though you may not be pestered, if you do go and post an original poem --usually haiku but any (clean) type is accepted-- written by you, you will most likely receive a gift in return. The "gift" will most likely be useless or maim you. Whichever it may be, it should be interesting and surprising. Lastly, this strange tradition applies to the pestering not the poetry. You are not required to do anything more to be a member here...unless you want to possibly get a [name of harmlessly fatal item here] or some other type of gift.

Now go forth and do (almost) whatever you want, just don't speculate in Reactions.
