Woops, I'd replied in the Reactions thread before noticing the post here. I'll quote that reply here:

Quote:
It appears that the phpbb user group permissions which were imported from sluggy.net are a little awkwardly set. swmartian had edit profile permissions because they were set to Yes for the POOP group. I've set edit profile permissions to Yes for the Registered Users default group, so you (and everyone!) should now see the options in your UCP, Zillatain.

Didn't figure you would see it in Reactions. Anyway nice to know I wasn't going blind after all.

Thanks Captain!

So I've run across a lot more slightly off comics, so I thought I'd post them as a big group:

http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2014-04-24 - includes bottom of previous comic at top
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2011-02-15 - bottom cut off
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2011-02-24 - top cut off
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2011-03-08 - bottom cut off

http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2011-03-30 &
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2011-03-31 - irregular cut-off

http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2011-05-05 - includes bottom of previous comic at top
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2011-06-03 - bottom cut off
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2011-07-07 - top cut off
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2011-09-14 - too small

I hope that's helpful!

I have a question about Defender 20+ rewards - how will we receive hard-copy Pawnz and the like if you don't have our address? It asked for payment info but not billing/shipping info when I registered as a Defender 20+.

Thanks!

Excellent question! Your Subscription Profile now has fields for your mailing address if you're subscribed at a level that has physical rewards. Pete will probably be making a more public announcement about this before the first rewards are set to be mailed out.

The posting page on the forum seems to break down on mobile. The text on buttons is greatly off-center, and the typing area goes past the end of the page.

Yay! The you fixed he 1 pixel the nav-bar was off by. That doesn't annoy me now. Though when it "snaps" on or off the top in the forum --and appears to be only the forum-- is still jarring.

The whole forum for mobile doesn't work that well on a phone especially, but better on a tablet . I've found that having it "request a desktop site" works much better. Though you do need to go landscape to see things or click on anything on most phones.

Seeing some weirdness as I start Ocean's Unmoving.

These two comics have some odd artifacts at the top of the strip:

http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-01-30
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-02-08

This one isn't upsized like it should be:

http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-02-10

Edit: This strip has the bottom of the previous strip at the top:

http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-03-29

Also, this Bikini Suicide Frisbee Days strip seems to be missing that title at the top:

http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-04-02

This strip looks like the left side was cut off slightly:

http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-04-05

Basically tons of weird image alignment issues in this chapter.

Into Chapter 46 now.

This strip is not properly embiggened:

Is there still something underway for linking old non-matching email Defenders accounts to current D20+ accounts? I've resubscribed as Day 1 anyway, but it'd be nice to link it all together. (And I want the totally unnecessary inflatable coin.)

There's a page for reviewing and linking your Defender of the Nifty status. It's linked on your profile (which you can navigate to from your username on the navbar) at the bottom left as Check your Defender of the Nifty status. It will show any known DotN and let you enter your old Defender username and password to link your status.

The inflatable coins aren't quite ready yet, but they'll be awarded as soon as they are.

Oceans Unmoving 2, these strips have a little bit of the next strip stuck on the bottom:

http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-10-09
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-10-11
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-11-06
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-11-10
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-11-25
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-11-29

For variety, these strip have a little bit of the previous strip on top:

http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-11-13
http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-11-29

I'm not 100% sure but it looks like some of the panels in the bottom row of this strip were cut off?

http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2006-01-18

This Bikini Suicide strip seems to missing its title:

http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2006-02-04

Oh, nice! Hadn't seen that announced anywhere. That definitely worked, thanks!

Hope this gets seen by the right people.

Since the new site launched, I've received intermittent errors when doing simple things:
  • HTTP 500 errors randomly, particularly when visiting the Archives
  • HTTP 504 errors randomly
  • SQL error 2002 randomly when clicking around the forums

While I love the higher resolution comics and the promise of the new site, overall I'm disappointed. I'm unsure if I will even be able to post this.
