The recurve bow I ordered a couple weeks ago arrived. Been itching to get back into archery.

Got tired of telling people how I really hurt my leg, so have started telling people that I saved a small child from two ninjas in the park and took a shuriken to the calf

My car's running smoothly again after a near-disaster with a flat tire in Cheyenne (if it had gone out on the highway...) Anyways, two replacement back tires and one 4-point alignment later and she's running just fine again.

Found a Metal Earth 3D laser cut metal model kit of a Tiger Tank my dad bought but never put together.

To be honest, there is no way he would of been able to put this thing together. The parts are so small and the tabs you have to bend are very tiny. They say you can do these things with just your hands and "needle nose pliers are helpful for assembly"... That's a load of crap. There is no way in hell of getting this thing together without at least one pair of pliers if you want this thing to even look decent.

So anyway, I put the thing together. I think it took 4 or 5 hours to assemble. So many pieces you have to shape just right so everything fits correctly and not look horrible. Hell mine looks better than their "360° View" of the finished tank. They did so many things wrong when assembling the thing. And to think, this is their official website.

I'm hooked. I need more...many more...

Just use care, it is possible for them to break on the fold lines.

I could tell with the first one (that set this whole thing in motion), that I had to be careful with that. Though I did run into a problem with the first one I did in this batch of 16.

I was bending the tiny pieces on the one half of a leg for the AT-AT, and I went to bend one that was about 5mm by 2mm, and...it wasn't there. They stupidly had it attached to the sheet on that little part instead of something more substantial. When trying to remove the leg, I didn't notice it was bending in the wrong place. So the tiny piece stayed on the sheet. I did take a (horrible) picture of what I had to do to keep it in place and glue it, but you can't see anything all that well.

I've since completed the AT-AT, but I haven't done any more since I have no clue where to display these things. Also I can't pick which one to do next...

One of my coworkers (who is nine months younger than me) posted on Facebook today that he found some gray hairs. I have yet to see any.

I was assistant director for Mort at our theatre.

It is the highest % sale show on record.

I couldn't be prouder of the cast and crew.

The turtle still moves.
