I'm a proponent for the original method of titling. I mean, how else are you going to get things like "Moist Happy of DOOM!"?

Traditionally, titles are bestowed upon Moderators when they do something really embarrasing. It usuall has to do withy a funny typo i.e "Moist Happy." There are other ways, Squeakymewmew used to run Sluggy.net survivor once a year, and the winner would win a title, which is how Queso got her title. Anyway, I don't remeber who said it, but a wise sluggite once said, "Titles are things to be feared."

Quite true Dodger. I mean, you think I wanted to be "Seat Sprinkler"? Or did Insp want to be the "Foot Lover"? And for the record, Crossroads Inc. isn't a mod, but he has posted here for a long time and has done a lot of great things for Sluggy.net, so we rewarded him with a title.
Plus, you just can't pass up a typo like "Moist Happy".

On another forum board I write to the moderators have a tiny little dancing stickfigure on top of their avatar. It's not a "title" and it doesn't say anything but it is quite obvious who the person is.
Just a suggestion

I still like the idea of random titles that are based on your post count. Nothing that would make older people better than new people. The titles could be changed regularly to keep it random. That would be so much fun.
I think the mods should have a simple "moderater" title for now. So people at least know who they are.
*looks at the dangling mod stick*
AHHH!!!
*runs away*

Ah, but why do you think post counts were eliminated in the first place? So people wouldn't post just to get/change said titles.
