1. Attach a cord to the latest Random Silliness thread and draw off some of the unharnessed energy bouncing around inside.

Harness the energy created by the Cat Toast Experiment (CTE)

CTE is built on the universal truths that a cat will always land on its feet and a piece of buttered toast will always land butter side down.
The process involves attaching a piece of buttered toast, butter side up, to the back of a cat. When dropped, the cat and toast enter a state of perpetual realignment, never touching the ground.

The Cat-to-Buttered-Toast alignment must be absolutely perfect or the whole device will fly apart in short order. I spent hours getting the toast and the cat in perfect sync to each other but was only able to keep them in the air for a minute and thirty seven seconds.

I think the trick is you need more cats and toast. I tried it with two each lashed to a box frame and managed four minutes three seconds. I suspect the more you use the more stable a rotation you get, but you also get more stress on the entire flywheel assembly. Heaven help you if it should lose structural integrity.

What if instead of cats and toast you try two cats together or two toast together? Would that work in any fashion?

I 've tried two cats and have the scars to proove it. You need to keep them seperated with something.

Two bits of toast is like a sandwich. Who ever heard of getting power from a sandwich?

I have a new suggestion. Footie pajamas and a carpet. That should generate quite a bit of power
