One person makes a mix-tape theme request. The next person provides a 3-song playlist that builds kir a tiny mix tape on that theme, and then makes a request of kir own.

I want a tiny mix tape of cat songs!

Ooh, 3 songs isn't nearly enough!

Pussycat - Wyclef Jean featuring Tom Jones
Cat's in the Cradle - Harry Chapin
New York - Cat Powers

Tiny mix of songs about tiny things. Bonus points if the songs are remixes!

Shock the Monkey - Peter Gabriel
Brass Monkey - The Beastie Boys
Monkey on my Back - Aerosmith

(notice I did not take the easy way out with the theme from the Monkees.)

for my mix tape I would like novelty songs about extra terrestrial bodies.

I can give you extraterrestrial bodies, but I'm not sure what you man by novelty songs. Also, I'm having a little trouble assembling good flow or a coherent theme.

novelty songs generally refer to humorous songs. That may be the best way to put it.

Tall Cool One - Robert Plant
Glycerine - Bush
Hey Jealousy - Gin Blossoms

What? The artists are all plant based.

(crimson and clover, yellow rose of texas, and tip toe through the tulips if you want actual songs)

In the spirit of the last holiday I would like a mix tape of songs where the song is from the point of view of a dead person or their ghost.

This was a surprisingly tough one --since no one else has taken a stab at it, here goes:

Ziggy Stardust - David Bowie (Spiders from Mars)
Rapture - Blondie (Man from Mars rap)
Superman's Song - Crash Test Dummies (don't forget Superman is actually an alien himself)

I'd like a tiny mix of well-known remixes --songs where the remix itself was popular. That will complete my trilogy of meta tiny mixes.

For that previous one, I had only 2, but they're good:

Precursors - Extraterrestrial Lifeforms
and
Brinstar - Full of Life

As for remixed popular music? Now I've REALLY got nothing.

Mouth (Stingray Mix)- Bush
Every Teardrop is a Waterfall (Avicii Remix)- Coldplay
We Are Young (Revolvr Remix)- Fun.

I would like a tiny mix tape of songs to drive to
