I was already a Sluggy fan when I heard an interview on NPR for the 10th anniversary. It had a link to an earlier interview as well. Why don't we try and get Sluggy back on NPR? The exposure couldn't hurt the traffic and might generate some much needed income. If, that is, Pete is willing. Any thoughts? Worth a shot?

On a related note, does anyone know if the John Ringo books actually drummed up interest in Sluggy? Although I had heard in passing of the site before Ringo's books, I hadn't actually checked it out until then. That, of course, led to addiction and eventually a Defender membership.

In the interest of full disclosure, I am a member of two NPR stations (WAMU and WUWM).

Here's a link to the NPR story: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=13935874

Just my $0.02.

That sounds like a good idea... why don't you email Pete via the Contact page on the main site, and also contact your stations and request it :)
