Hey, I can't find the PAWS thread. Someone should re-make it, or point to where it is. I have some showing off to do.

I think we were hoping the original would be recovered. In order to repost it we need to repost the rules which the moderators will probably have to rewrite. So you can post your PAWS here for now and we will either move it later or start a new one.

Well check it out.

http://www.willamette.edu/~mantinon/art ... dragon.gif

Pencil and sharpie across six pieces of paper. Probably somewhere between 12 and 30 hours of work over a period of seven months. And it's hanging up on the wall in my dorm room.

Can't remember whether or not I posted this yet, but I feel I have to show it off.

The dragon was nice.

What I like about the cat critter is that it has a knee yet still have a believeable cat leg

Thankyou. I learned to draw people as anthropomorphic, so I've had lots and lots of practice.

Plangkye realises that animal legs don't actually bend backwards, but rather have really long toes and oddly-placed (to human eyes) ankles. That's why it's so good, and good it is.

Thank you.

I've always loved looking at technical and biological drawings, and loved my ZooBooks as a child. I always was fascinated on the pages where they showed the anatomy of the animals, how the bones and muscles interacted, and all that. Since I know what a cat's skeleton looks like, and that it's not terribly different from a human skeleton if you just change the length of the bones, I can draw anthropomorphically with accuracy.

THough I'm still unsure of how to draw hands on an anthropomorphic equine.
