Originally I was going to do a parody called "Metadash" where each person had to come up with a line from a past "-dash" thread --just as a joke. But then I thought you could do a playable version --Sluggitedash --if you opened it up to any thread from the archives. Then I was going to do a version --Sluggydash-- where all the entries were lines from The Comic. But as amusing as all those notions were, I think this version will actually be the most enjoyable to play:

One player --the dasher -- picks a webcomic and gives a line of dialog. Each other player creates a line of dialog following it, and PM's that to the Dasher. Correctly identifying the actual entry will give you 2 points. If no one guesses the correct entry, the dasher gets 3 points. And under kitoba rules, correctly attributing a fake entry gets you 1 point.

Who's in?

Is this limited to webcomics, or can I make use of, say, my old collection of Asterix comics?

I'm in either way. I expect that I'll do really badly, but hey, when has that stopped me before?

Well I've never played a "-dash" before, but I might as well start. Count me in!

OK, I think I've cleared enough PM's from my box to do this. If anyone else wants to join, feel free. Remember, PM your entries, don't post them.

We'll start out with The Comic. Since you're all presumably familiar with it, I won't describe it, future dashers owe a description of the comic and the characters here.

BTW, print comics are fine, CCC.

Order of dashers will be highest scorer who hasn't gone yet per round, tie breaker is overall standings, second tie-breaker is alphabetical order. Tardy players will be skipped.

OK, this is the last panel of the comic in question, from "Camel in the Air".

EDIT: And just so 17 people don't answer this, the line is NOT "Let me check my notes".

EDIT: For anyone who thought they saw a slate of entries here-- I had originally posted some answers, but I just realized the window for getting in an answer was ultra short. I don't want to penalize people who didn't spend their weekend writing witty Riffisms!

I'm going to wait one more day and then repost.

Wow, you Sluggites really know your Comic. I think it's safe to say I won't score any points this round --not that I expected to.

Official Players this round:
insp, Steave, Radnar, Funky Honky, Solara, Stan Cold, Drache, Durandal, ccc, Ruan, The Malkavian, Jorodyn.

Since there are so many players I'm going to limit GUESSES on attributions to a max of 3. In other words, you can guess up to three attributions for a max of 3 extra points.
