Our sources say, Yes, it does consume oxygen.
1. It is not bigger than a bucket. 2. It is a living thing. 3. It is not an invertebrate animal. 4. It consumes oxygen.
Question: Does it reproduce asexually?

We have... no 1. It is not bigger than a bucket. 2. It is a living thing. 3. It is not an invertebrate animal. 4. It consumes oxygen. 5. It does not reproduce asexually. 6. Does it spend most of its life in water? So far: It's a vertebrate or a fungus, but not a plant. And it is no larger than a bucket... So no bigger than this. (it's the bucket of a dragline)

Nope
1. It is not bigger than a bucket. 2. It is a living thing. 3. It is not an invertebrate animal. 4. It consumes oxygen. 5. It does not reproduce asexually. 6. It does not spend most of its life in water.
7. Does it exclusively eat a single type of food? (meat, vegetable, dirt etc.)

CCC wrote: Don't plants consume a small amount of oxygen at night? Yes, yes they do. Basically any time when they are using the food that they made. They just produce a whole lot more than they consume, so it's a net plus for all of us that require the stuff.

Well, at least one third-generation particle. Perhaps it vitally incorporates taus, or stable supersymmetric partners of neutrinos, or something. The annoying thing is that I knew that and still put down it wasn't a plant. Oh well... Okay, a flip... No. 1. It is not bigger than a bucket. 2. It is a living thing. 3. Is its main cellular structure primarily composed of cellulose? Now we'll find out if I was right after all...and just didn't know it at the time.

17. Is it a type of vine?
I was thinking Kudzu, but I'm not sure whether the South counts as "tropical".
