Maybe it's only possible to score points when this game is in a certain state. That would make things A LOT more complicated than Steave's game. I don't know if I am up to this challenge.

"This" meaning just that sentence or this whole post? Because the whole post should be worth 2, unless I'm still off-base.

I feel like I have a good* understanding by now of the scoring for "State 1", but I'm still completely in the dark about how the state changes!

Have we had any rounds in a different state --am I allowed to ask that? :o

Parannoyed is in a state of confusion, which should not confuse anyone. Except me. I think.

'this' meant the whole post. If you figure out how to score at a given moment, then it should be relatively simple to figure out how to get to the next state.

Speaking of which, Parannoyed scored 1, which surprised me as it wasn't the easiest state to score in.

The only thing I understand about "state" is that I'm in Ohio, but I'll stick with a strategy that has done well for me in the (recent) past.

So it looks like only drachefly's posts advance the state. And some states ARE harder to score in than others. That's about the only two things I understand about this game. Well, that and the fact that quoting is an easy way to score points...

There also appears to be some relation between drachefly's 'score' and the game state.

This would be useful information to me if I HAD ANY FREAKING CLUE HOW TO SCORE A POINT (other than by quoting posts that is)

No. Every time anyone scores, it advances state as well. Just, I don't get to score points because I'm running the game. Sorry for being misleading. I'll go back and edit it (it won't change the game state) so people can avoid this confusion.

Having said that, there is a pretty substantial clue waiting to be discovered.

And no one has scored since my last post, including this one. We're still waiting for someone to score, since I won't push it over the edge this time.
