Even as barren as this forum has become I was a little surprised there was no thread talking about Friday's Supreme Court ruling.

This was my first reaction. The only way I could be happier about this would be if I myself was gay and planning to get married. In time, when Americans look up and see the sky did not fall as predicted, the fear mongers will have finally lost one of their big tools for getting people to vote for representatives who work against their interests.

It does look like Roberts has been more scrupulous about playing the Money Republican game than the three stooges, certainly; and the rich masters of the party don't care about this social issue silliness or have any problems with profitable laws like the ACA. Not when there's money to be made.

And my backwards arse country is still being held aloft on tides of bigotry.
