Nonsequitur. Remember this is ONLY about the Senate blocking appointees, not about the House giving dictatorial powers to Speaker Boehner.

I think the fact the Democrats took this long to change the rules shows this really was a last resort.


A ten-fold increase in blocking appointments, when those 7 under Bush raised 'obstructionist' cries, demands a response. If you can't play nicely with your toys, you can't expect to keep them.
