Either way you are completely missing my point. With this you have this mass outrage from the left targeted at Palin and the tea party. Yet no connection seems to exist at all. But because there is a target on a map... oh that is so terrible. Both sides have used militant speech and/or symbolism during campaigns.

If the right had gotten all fired up and blamed someone on the left for Reagan's shooting would that have made sense? Obviously not, because we pretty much all can agree that Hinckley was a loon. The mental state of the shooter in Gifford's case is already and has been in question even prior to the shooting.

I've not heard anyone talk about how this guy is Tea Party. No one has said "this crazy due saw Palin's ill thought out graphic, and acted on it"

People are concerned and uncomfortable about the overblown and violent rhetoric of the Tea Party, however, and this incident has thrown that into light and brought it more attention. It has caused people to talk about it. What do you think people who disagree with the tea party philosophically feel when they hear Sharon Angle say "we'll need second amendment solutions"? Do as the right wings says or get shot? Do these people think America is some 1960s banana republic where if your side loses and election it is acceptable to topple the government to get their side back in?

Jorodryn, when you started talking about Wheeler, I thought you were referring to John Roll, the judge slain at the shooting. I didn't expect you to be brining up a wholly unrelated case. It still makes you look pretty stupid, but not nearly as stupid as I thought.

While I by no means support everything Keith Olbermann says, nor the way he says it, if you really think the stupid poop Keith says is in any way comparable to the stupid poop Glenn Beck says, you either don't pay attention to either man very well or you have no concept of degree.
