*Hi Soulhunter!*
Thanks folks. I was stationed in Korea in 2001 for a year; spending a lot of time online when I wasn't working. A friend from Canada told me about 'Sluggy Freelance.' I didn't understand the current comic but was interested. I binged the archives on a dial-up connection. Then I got a high-speed DSL and binged them again. I had an alarm to tell me when midnight happened in New Jersey. I joined the forums and started talking about moderators by name like I knew them. Pete became a demi-god in my viewpoint. Joe Sunday the same way. I hated the stick guy on GP, but not in a personal way.
The comic is 25 years old, but I'm only 21 years into it. Thanks for listening

What's up, Soulhunter! I'm still a demi-god. Just more into the wood/food/beer craft these days.

A cousin of mine introduced me sometime around 2004. I didn't pay it much attention until my grandad died and I needed something to distract myself. That was I think my first ever media binge of that scale. Once I got caught up I'd read the first comic in computer lab in 2nd period. Joined the forums when I left for college around 2008 and I've been kinda lurking about ever since.

My brother's college friends got him into Sluggy, and he in turn got me into it. I started reading somewhere in the early 2000s and then when the Kesandru's Well story hit in 2003 after being a daily reader for a while I just had to talk to people about it and so I joined the forums. And I've been here ever since!
