Good grief, I've been on this forum over a third of my life!
The posters who were 12 and 13 back then are pushing 30 now...

I was 16 when I signed up here, and am 32 now. So I've been here half of my life!
I wasn't as young as say Nurgle, Sorceress, Talia Karn, or Riffstrenchcoat but I was on the youngish side even if I am not so young now...

Oh boy. I remember going to a play in which Duke Leto participated in a minor capacity. Don't recall whether he had lines or was a crowd member.
It was during some arguments with the kid who was an objectivist Star Trek fan. Who was that, again?

Man, I had some epic debates with Raahul. I think I have them saved somewhere... It's so sad that so much dreck on the internet is saved forever, but the pure magic that was the Golden Age of the Sluggy Forums is gone forever. Well, to quote Robert Frost: Quote: Nature's first green is gold Her hardest hue to hold Her early leaf's a flower but only so an hour Then leaf subsides to leaf So Eden sank to grief So dawn goes down to day
Nothing gold can stay

I have one of our debates saved, but that's it. I don't usually save forum posts for later. Wish I had.

I only ever saved one forum thread, and I just recently posted the entire thing in quote form after an abortive attempt to have people recreate it [/shameless plug]
At least you guys were present for the Golden Age!

Did someone mention people who haven't been here in forever? Honestly, I'm not sure what made me think of this place today, but it kinda popped into my head. Only other forums I'm on that are pretty busy are the Order of the Stick forums. Man... it's been... kinda forever. I think I was just a young college kid last time I was on here. Now I'm 33 (almost 34) with a full-time job. Weird. It's really nice seeing some of you, though. Kea, congrats on the home ownership and marriage! Kitoba, how'd that book work out? Dodger, Drachefly. Wow...

VBB! Yeah, you were definitely just a kid the last time you were around I don't remember which book I was working on back then... None of them have had the success I've hoped for, but I'm still writing...

Remembering your old projects… When I saw Star Wars 7, I kept thinking of one of yours, I think it was 'Plexr', because one of the things you could make was a 'Huxor', which is really close to the name of that general.

LOL that's right, I think you beat my own high score on that. I don't remember if you played the first version or the second one --I might revive it again someday.
