I enjoy horror, but I always wind up with all the lights in the house on and getting into a horrible loop where I stay up until 2AM reading creepy stories and then have to stay up until 4AM reading funny/happy stories to bring me down. It was no good. And then last summer, the other tenats in my house moved
a terrifying wrestling dummy into the basement and I spent about a week wigging out before my brain finally came to my rescue and figured out how to fix the problem of being scared of stuff.
You picture the stuff doing its weird scary nonsense. Little girls singing slowly, spiders crawling over a corpse, Freddy polishing his axe, whatever.
And then you overlay that picture with
Yakety Sax.
It's more or less impossible to be scared after that!
