Now that the voting is over, can somebody explain how CHUCK ASSAY was nomminated. It's not his politics (far far right) or the quality of his work (sharply declining over the past decade) that I question. Assay is primarily a newspaper editorial cartoonist. Yes his work appears on some online media, but then so do most comics these days. If Chuck Assay is a webtoonist, then so are the folks at Mary Worth!

I don't think much thought was put into who got on.

Gwynn and her Wiiing could have so mopped the floor with the scantily clad women over at Day by Day.

Looks like it came down to political blogs duking it out. Oh well, there's always next year... and plenty of us that realize that sometimes the worlds problems can't be solved by scantily clad women and political polorization... but by the shining blade of a vengeful mini-lop. And, well, our ladies are pretty damn fetching too. :P

well, it's a nomination thing, and it looks like this is the first year the had a "comic" category, so it is kind of understandable that the first time they try it will not produce a proper representation of webcomics, we'll just have to get in early next year, put in some decent competition, and wipe the floor with them!
