Maybe a more realistic version of the donating thing, anyone buy the special edition of the game and get the duest pass with it that they're not using? That's actually how a buddy of mine got me into it, so maybe that could work here.

So I finally bought the damn game. :) Playing a throwaway Undead fighter for now, to get the hang of it.

With all these people jumping on the bandwagon, let me announce that I've jumped off. The game doesn't seem like much fun solo and my friends keep outleveling me because I'm the only one with a real job. So my characters have stalled out at level 36 (mage) and 26 (paladin).

So far, a Lvl 14 Tauron Warrior and a Lvl 7 Dwarven Paladin, both on Earthen Ring.

Thyla and myself can be found on Bloodhoof. Just look for the 'Nac Mac Feegle' running around alliance territory.
We've been known to play horde as well :)
On Bloodhoof I have:
Macogh, Dwarf, Level 33 Paladin
Medwind, Undead, Level 25 Warlock

A little off topic... How many others have come across any of the white with gray spots mini-lop bunnies and thought "Bun-Bun!"? I just know, some day I'm going to come across one that is a lvl 60, Elite Boss and have a 100yard aggro range. With a switch-blade of course.

Funny thing, being a Troll Rogue (using daggers....close enough to a switchblade), I think that at least 3 or 4 times every time I play

Ahh, I'm so glad that we got the game at the same time as the Americans and not the Europeans. Woo, much earlier.
I have a lvl 38 Orc Hunter in Cenarion Circle. I feel so lonely sometimes. So many people tend to choose the Alliance races, so you don't have so many horde people to go fight with. And I'm 8 levels higher than anyone in my guild...not that anybody in there plays much. And besides, most of the influx of players are low levels. *prods 'em* Get tougher, damnit!
I also have an 8th level Gnome Warlock...which I haven't touched in weeks. And I just started an Undead Priest which I've just got to level 8 and probably won't drop anytime soon. Least hope not to...
Oh well, 'tis a fun game. But you should be able to be a Murlock! I love those little guys...

*sniff* I haven't played in ages. Too much work, not enough time.
... that and my level 29 paladin is kind of stuck right now, so playing seems too much like work, so I've been avoiding it. I do need some serious time off, though. I think I've been working 24/7 for the last three weeks. I should take President's day off and just play.

Recently I've just been playing with my level 32 Gnomish Mage/Engineer on the Proudmoore server - running around mining more metals for my projects, getting rid of junk in my bank account, building up special items and orders (Aquadynamic Fish Attractors, quantity 50, for the level 51 Dwarf Hunter in our guild who's leveling up his fishing skills, and some scopes for him and the bow-users).
I recently swam down the western coastline between Menethil harbor and Westfall, looking for special areas. Didn't find much, except for a few unfinished areas (or even constructed, you could tell by the rough joins between the land textures). Didn't find any of those areas that will get you kicked out (e.g. Defenders of Blizzard, or mobs that don't respond to your presence), not that I wanted to, just exploring. I did find a dock right on the border where the coastline zone maps officially switch over from "Menethil Harbor" (even though I'm almost to the south end of Dun Morogh by this point) to "Westfall" (although I'm still north of Stormwind).

I did this too, as well as swim around Teldrasill's eastern flank to see what I could find. I found that dock, and was able to get up there and take a screenshot of myself there. :) I didn't know that there were areas that could kick you out... I'll have to research that online.
I'm always looking for ways to get to those areas you see when you are taking a flight between locations, that seem to be there just for visual flavor.

I finally got the game, had serious trouble installing it, and my computer will barely run it (and not at all during peak hours). But it's fun. I have a level 11 troll hunter and I'm really enjoying it. I'm disappointed in the RP server, since I see ZERO RP going on. And I'm leery about trying the PVP servers since my computer will get me killed more often than not. Maybe when I get my new laptop this summer.
