Well, I cut off all my hair today. Yesterday was spent with my parents, sister, and my nieces. We did a little shopping and just spent some time together. My son spent the whole weekend without an incident, potty related anyway.

I spent mine dealing with people freaking out over a little snow. Every time people hear that word in the forecast, they freak out like the apocalypse is upon us. Really, there's no need to buy out the grocery store.

Really, there's no need to buy out the grocery store. I spent my weekend shoveling that same snow. On the plus side, yesterday the family hid in the house in front of a roaring fire playing board games and eating homemade scones and cherry pie all day. My son is 8 points behind me in the Scrabble game, I'm down to one letter, he's got three, including an 's'. Not bad for an 11 year old!

It barely dusted in the Springs proper. But yay for smart kiddoes and Scrabble :)

Oil change in my Ford and check around on pricing for rebuilding my alternator vs. buying a new one. I found a shop not too far from home that does rebuilds, so I might try asking them about it.

Well, oil change may get push up to today. Woke up to a flat tire with part of a broken key stuck in it and my son hurt his shoulder yesterday at daycare, so he and I are going to the doctor to get it checked. With the day off, I might as well change the oil and get the inspection done.

Having a going-away party for my boy toy tonight (which everybody has RSVPed "maybe" to, so I have no idea if there will even BE a party, haha!), a "school for prayer"/"art of holy listening" class tomorrow morning, afternoon hanging with the boy toy, dinner party, and then Sunday is the usual church-church-church-with-a-side-of-church (choir practice, Eucharist, a Bishop's Committee meeting, Education for Ministry, Night Prayers with Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. It tickles and baffles me how religious my Sundays make me sound. So misleading!)

Tonight - Food, beer, reggae Tomorrow - Zoo, beer, football, more beer Sunday - I can't remember. I have a feeling something was planned, but don't know what it was. If not, it'll be a long hard day of reading, watching TV, playing Wii and a bit of cooking.
I love weekends.

As far as I'm concerned 'maybe' means 'no' if it's still 'maybe' a few days before the event. If everyone is 'maybe' I'd just ditch for a romantic day alone. That's just me though.

You were correct! No one came and we ended up watching The Dark Knight Rises and Portlandia and cuddling. Which was fun, but if I'd seen and taken your advice sooner, we could have gone out dancing together or something.
