And while we're here on this thread, this weekend I'm going to take a surfing lesson. As a supremely uncoordinated dorktastic city-dwelling couch potato, I have decided to take up surfing purely because going "Wheeee!" on a floating board looks like fun.

I'll be doing the same thing I do every weekend. Going to work early Saturday to get some painting/games in (when you work at a miniatures wargaming store...) and then playing Pathfinder during my shift when not dealing with customers (that also has pen and paper RPG supplies...). Then Sunday is my 'I don't do anything' day.

Apparently one round of con crud wasn't enough, so I'm off to NecronomiCon to compound matters! I will likely spend next week with a shoggoth camped out in my lymph nodes, but it'll be totally worth it.

SURFING IS AWESOME! That was the most fun I've had in years.
In 2 hours, I managed to stand up on the surf board only 4 times, but even wiping out is fun. Nobody warns you about the rug burn from the surf board though. Ow.
