I saw him on TV. He sure was ugly, but I wouldnt mind that if he was sweet. Nope... he was *mean*

The Seattle Times did an article on him. Apparently he's very charming, and his owner just loves him to death.

Well, he's almost 15-years old so I don't think he's too much longer for this world. Part of the problem is that he's not of a particularly attractive breed to begin with and then on top of that he's blind and I read somewhere that he has some chronic health issues too... Basically it just astonishes me that someone was nice enough to adopt him and take care of him for so many years.

Yow, it looks like something straight out of Gremlins in that first photograph. Didn't anyone tell him he's not supposed to get it wet (or feed it after midnight)?

I think the eyes are what clinches it; even a golden retriever would look a tad creepy with cataract eyes.
