Ah well. Next time. Although I was just told you're from NYC, so my Chinatown recommendation is useless: you guys have two of them, and they're both bigger and better than Boston's. I just couldn't resist shamelessly plugging my favorite Vietnamese restaurant.

Ahava, FAO Shwarz closed down Last I saw they left behind the giant bronze Teddy bear, but that might've been taken away by now.

And have they really completed the Big Dig? Because I was there a year ago and they were still working on it. The underground parts were fairly complete, but they still needed to take down the temporary highways around the Fleet Center and the permanent bridge. And the areas around the Science Museum and the North End still felt like hazards to walk through. Have they cleaned all of that up yet?

Honestly, I dunno. I thought it was mostly done. I jsut drive down 95 and (luckily) circumvent most of Boston.. *L*
