I actually like these default colors a heck of a lot more than I liked the blue default theme. And this theme doesn't have the silly globes either. I actually used smartdark on the nuke forums, but I wasn't in love with it or anything. I might stick with this instead.
What do people have against brown anyway?

But if and when it ever does become possible, you'll probably be able to do so by going to your profile, and changing the Board Style option from 'sluggy' to 'SubSilver'. And give the brown a chance. Once you get used to it, I'm sure you'll learn to love it dearly. Kullervo wrote: What do people have against brown anyway?

It's warm. Warm! Since it's all cold outside, this toasty brown Hot Buttered Rum and nutmeg color scheme is nice and warm. Without being red.
Neutrals are nifty!

Besides discussing the new forums, we could also use this thread to discuss the possibility of having new forums, right?
Huh?
You know, like whether we ought to have a new forum in the off-topic area for discussing artwork, or maybe a forum where we can post all of our rants. Or an on-topic forum for the specific purpose of discussing character in The Comic, that sort of thing.

Hey I have nothing against Brown™, I mean I use UPS just like everyone else
Seriously, its just when you see the same thing for so long, your brain just gets used to it, it feels... 'Comftable'

I rather like the ol' earthy tones. I suppose it kinda reminds me of my house, come to think of it.
I suppose I miss the default blue and silver, but I never used it. After staying on the boards for an hour or so, the colors started to hurt my eyes (on the good ol' CRT monitor back home), so I searched through all the themes to find one that I could actually read (some of the darker ones were a bit awkward) and that didn't hurt my eyes, and settled on the Helius Grey.
Something about the new format seems a little..... Off... To... simplificated (not simplified, simplificated.) But, it's still the same old boards.

These colors aren't too bad. I'd been using smartDark for a while, and was probably due for a change. Besides, I hated those globes.
On a different note, what's up with these ads? They're ugly, and they really disrupt the page layout. We never needed ads on the php forums. What gives?

Good riddance to all that PHP-Nuke nonsense, I never used any of that other crap anyways.

That big thing off to the Left on every screen in phpNuke? It had instant acces to word search, fan art, sluggy stats, back to the forum in general, as well as customizable features, such as changing the COLOR!

Well yeah, I suppose there is that. There was a lot of junk on there, though, that nobody ever used. You could write a journal! Or read posts from your cell phone! Or read answers to the three Frequently Asked Questions they had!

But I *ENJOYED* being up at all hours of the night threatning random ISP's abuse department's with firebombing if they didn't stop the script kiddies from banging on our nuke installation.
It was the highlight of my sluggy induced insomnia.
Oh wait.
Nevermind.
Good riddance to Nuke.

Fortunately, with the nice new colour scheme, threre's no need to change the colour, as it already looks lovely!
