So!

:kiki:
We have the shiny new forums.

Bugs are being hunted. :bunbun: :kzk:

And the threads have de-evolved to June 4th standard. :sam:

What do Sluggites think of the new stomping ground? :torg:

Do we love it? :zoe:

Or hate it? :oasis:

(Well, the emoticons seem to work! :gwynn: )

I like it ... even though the interface is less-customized, at least I can tell at a glance what the different thread icons mean. Other than that it doesn't look that different.

I dunno, I'm just having the strangest sense of deja-vu...

I was never very keen on the 'jewel-style' thread icons, so it's nice to have the regular ones back, but I liked the old colour scheme. It was more distinctive. Now it's the same colour as the board for my University's games society.

And these new / old threads are not deja-vu for me... since I was absent back on the 4th of June, it's like they're totally new! Of course, the downside to that is all the threads I was just getting into are now lock-ola'd. Ah well.

yeah, total deja-vu...

A new home always takes some getting used to, but my first gut reaction is with Axel; I liked the old color scheme.

Anyone remember those old "Globe" thread icons? I thought those were cool.

Woo-hoo! At first I thought I was going to have to register all over again. I've never been a post counter, but I'd hate to lose my date of joining.

It's hard to believe, but this is the third time I've witnessed the boards change over. It seems like we didn't have the last version very long....

At any rate, the boards now look almost exactly the way they did when I first joined, so I'm cool with that, although I enjoyed the last iteration with all the colored lights. I don't like the yellow header with the green text tho...

I'd prefere a less bright colorscheme. I hope there will be something to choose eventually.

I don't care particulary about the banner, it falls under my mental "banner ad filter" anyway if i don't scroll down anyway.

All in all i get used to board changes. It becomes something like bad weather. I am sure there are good reasons to do it, but for me as simple forum user it means some minor inconvenience and then things are practically as they have been before.

*sobs*

I was just getting used to the old forums.

Plus, now I can't find poop & Battletech :(

:bunbun: For this, someone dies.

:torg: Or, y'know, gets the 'angry look'.

For some reason, I had to create a new account (sob, those few posts on my count!), which means I can't post on the POOP forum!

I must admit I can't tell a HUGE difference between this forum and the last. Other than the colours.

'alloz. I likes the new/old colors better. They is easier on teh eyes.

That is all.

(Btw, third switchover for me, also. It's getting a tad extemporaneous.)

:sasha: extemporaneous?

I can't even count the board changes anymore.

I like these colors.

has the same feel as the other one, it's basically the same board with a new scheme to me.

Works for me - though I will say I like this scheme better than the last one
