Today, for me, is April 1st.* For many of you tomorrow will be this day of amateur pranksters. Also many of you, like me, like this day so I dedicate this thread to the April Fools pranks that you enjoyed and might want to share with your fellow sluggites. Join me, fellow youngsters, and point and laugh at the geezers yelling at us to step off the grass. (NOTE: I respect Steave's opinions and will not interfere with his thread. But I know Sluggy.net has some people who enjoy this holiday, as well as those who don't, so I thought it would be best if we had our own thread. Also also, if you really really don't like April Fools day, you may want to steer clear of the Sluggite Zone for a day. Maybe not the whole site, but definitely WGARS... ) EDIT: XKCD's is pretty good. But then, I WAS a CS major. Your mileage may vary =) *Technically, not true for me for another hour and a half.

I always take joy in seeing what websites have done for the day. Check youtube's text only mode for a little fun.

XKCD's amused me because I found myself trying to use it like a MUD... unfortunately, no velociraptors ended up eating me.

Go west for a bit. It is horribly cheesy.

I'm not usually big on the big corporate pranks, but I thought this was pretty funny. Also for the xkcd, try reading the manual or asking for age sex and location.

Sadly, work commitments (the actual paying job variety) and limited internet access means that I can't really spare the time for elaborate April Fool's pranks here because it usually requires one day to set up and additional time the next day to put everything back. All I did this year was something only the mods can see.
Besides, it's really no fun when everyone expects something.
