Thought maybe a could combine my required introduction post along with my reason for coming to the forums. I'm a long time reader of the comic, been following since Torg first met Oasis in the lake, and I catch pretty much every comic on the day it is posted. So this isn't a huge issue. However, ever since the website was updated, I can't seem to find any way to scroll through the comics other than going to the archives. There's no more "previous comic" button nor next comic. Am I just blind? Where are these buttons at, and if they really have gotten rid of the buttons are there any plans to bring them back?

Welcome to the forum Zuberi!

Well ever since the comic moved over to a chapter view format instead of a single view, there's not really a back button. Though, there is something kind of like it on the main page.

Underneath the comic and to the right of the chapter name is a link that says, "View in Archives". That link will take you directly to the current strip's location in the Archives. Then you just scroll up to to view any "back" comics. It's not the best but that the closest we have.

The only other thing you could use is the bookmark functionality if you don't catch it everyday. If you want more info about that, I can tell you how to use that (if you can't figure it out).

Anyway [member's name here], now I will tell you about the strange tradition aimed at newcomers.

At one time there were Pesterers who pestered you for poetry, but that tends to be very rare nowadays. Even though you may not be pestered, if you do go and post an original poem --usually haiku but any (clean) type is accepted-- written by you, you will most likely receive a gift in return. The "gift" will most likely be useless or maim you. Whichever it may be, it should be interesting and surprising. Lastly, this strange tradition applies to the pestering not the poetry. You are not required to do anything more to be a member here...unless you want to possibly get a [name of harmlessly fatal item here] or some other type of gift.

Now go forth and do (almost) whatever you want, just don't speculate in Reactions.
