Hello all!

My name is Matt, and I've been a Defender of the Nifty for a couple years now. However, with the D20+ switch, I've noticed a few bugs that I was hoping to report, but alas, have no posting privileges as of yet.

Having browsed a few other intros, it seems the thing to do is reminisce about a favorite Sluggy, and for me, that would definitely be Oceans Unmoving. I loved the establishment of Timeless Space, and Kada's realization at the end of OU1 is brilliant: http://archives.sluggy.com/book.php?cha ... 2005-04-17

I am very much enjoying the new format for reading the archives, and am deifnitely looking forward to a reread in the newly remastered versions!

Matt

Welcome to the forum martinmcu!

Yes, there are still a bunch of bugs :kzk: They went more than a bit overboard with this remodel.

Ocean Unmoving... Sure hope Pete gets back to that someday. Also would be nice if finished the Torg Potter series. I have to say that OU is one my most favorite arcs. Would love to see more of that.

Yes the new format for the Archives is nice for going through if you intend to read everything. But for everything else, it's a major problem.

Anyway, you may be here to post in the forum or you were confused and thought you needed to be a Full Member to participate in non-forum things. You don't actually. Whichever it was, means you can post in the forum whenever the urge hits you, if you want. Now I will tell you about the strange tradition aimed at newcomers.

At one time there were Pesterers who pestered you for poetry, but that tends to be very rare nowadays. Even though you may not be pestered, if you do go and post an original poem--usually haiku but any (clean) type is accepted--written by you, you will most likely receive a gift in return. The "gift" will most likely be useless or maim you...a little. Whichever it may be, it should be interesting and surprising. Lastly, this strange tradition applies to the pestering not the poetry. You are not required to do anything more to be a member here...unless you want a gift.

Now go forth and do (almost) whatever you want, just don't speculate in Reactions.

Indeed, my intention was to be able to post to the bug report forum, though I have already sent an email. Still, with how much I've been hanging on the edge of my seat these past few weeks, I could see being a bit more active in the reactions board as well.
