Hello, I have been on the internet for quite some time now and have never been able to understand forums and how they work. Here goes my first try.

One of the best and yet worst times for me was That Which Redeems, such a dark story line that really changed Torg, even if he didn't quite show it to his friends. Also, has anyone wondered how much time has passed in the Sluggyverse over the years? Some comics will reference dates in our world, but the characters haven't really aged/changed that much. Is it just the magic of comics?
Thanks for protecting Sluggites from the horrors of internet robots. :pun:

Welcome to the forum NiftyPun25!

Forums are easy. You just take the bizlam you received at birth and put it on the crammadul in the lower right corner and rotate it anticounterclockwise three times. Once the tone of the Grath is heard inside of your head, you need to immediately tap the bim in the upper right corner once, and only once. Now that your phalanges will not be removed in your sleep, you may now use your interface device to post a plaktarm that will...wait, that is to summon Thrashgul the Destroyer of Stars. Sorry. I meant plaktarn that will lease your soul to Plimss while you are on the forum. And that's about it. Oh and remember to chant the deincantation of Trimphal the Wise fourth verse when you are done. See, easy.

I'm not sure even Pete really knows how old they are. But I'm guessing about ten years have actually passed.

Anyway, you may be here to post in the forum or you were confused and thought you needed to be a Full Member to participate in non-forum things. You don't actually. Whichever it was, means you can post in the forum whenever the urge hits you, if you want. Now I will tell you about the strange tradition aimed at newcomers.

At one time there were Pesterers who pestered you for poetry, but that tends to be very rare nowadays. Even though you may not be pestered, if you do go and post an original poem--usually haiku but any (clean) type is accepted--written by you, you will most likely receive a gift in return. The "gift" will most likely be useless or maim you...a little. Whichever it may be, it should be interesting and surprising. Lastly, this strange tradition applies to the pestering not the poetry. You are not required to do anything more to be a member here...unless you want a gift.

Now go forth and do (almost) whatever you want, just don't speculate in Reactions.

Ah, a very nice haiku. This deserves a gift just as nice.

...

Don't mind the dust, it won't affect the bottle or what's inside. This is from my personal stash of only 18,000 bottles of the famous Organ Blender spirit. It's the perfect blend of 160 proof methanol with just the right amount titanium shavings, then aged for 382 years in a perfectly grown (to the atom) 12 liter bottle made of clear crystalline carbon.

Just be sure to shake before imbibing.
