Hi, yet another pledge motivated registration.

I first became aware of Sluggy Freelance in 2000 by when a friend started being called Riff for some reason. It took me until 2002 to figure out what was going on and have been enjoying it ever since. Really looking forward to seeing the future of Sluggy.

Hopefully you have enough time to get your Pledge in since it appears that you haven't been back since you became a full member about an hour ago (related to when this post was posted). Not sure how Pete may handle things if people registered before the deadline but were not able to Pledge after all.

Seems that other people had similar stories about being called Riff. So you were very cool and carried around explosives, I'm guessing.

Anyway, a lot of new people signed up recently, so I will have to keep this short (and amazingly identical). There used to be Pesterers to pester you for poetry, but who knows if that will happen. Even though you may not be pestered, if you do post an original poem--usually haiku but any (clean) type is accepted--written by you, you may also receive a gift in return. The "gift" may be useless or fatal, but it's a surprise. Lastly, the pestering is the tradition here, not the poetry.
