Hello Sluggites!

Something about me, first. I am a writer, RPGer and Doctor Who fan, so should fit in well here (though I probably still won't post much); I have been reading the comic for many years, almost became a Defender of the Nifty a couple of times but never did. Sorry about that!

Next, something to show that I do read the comics. Well, can I just say that one of my favourite funny scenes was when they were short of money and Riff became a free range veal herder. I remember that one whenever the subject of veal comes up (I don't eat it myself because although I am not a vegetarian I try not to eat animals that were basically tortured before slaughter).

Anyway, a lot of new people signed up recently, so I will have to keep this short (and amazingly identical). There used to be Pesterers to pester you for poetry, but who knows if that will happen. Even though you may not be pestered, if you do post an original poem--usually haiku but any (clean) type is accepted--written by you, you may also receive a gift in return. The "gift" may be useless or fatal, but it's a surprise. Lastly, the pestering is the tradition here, not the poetry.
