Found Sluggy about a dozen or so years ago via a reference to bun-bun painted on the side of an alien ship killing tank, unfortunately the novel's title escapes me now, but after reading about a switch blade toting lop with a really bad attitude, I just had to find out more and have been hooked on the 'book' version of Pete & Co's work ever since!

You are probably thinking about Hell's Faire by John Ringo or one of the other books in the Posleen Saga. Though I say it was probably that book even though it was the third one in the series, is because it had some samples and some original artwork from Pete set in that universe. Bun-Bun was on the side a huge tank designated SheVa 9. That book ended up introduced me as well to Sluggy, and that there were these things called "webcomics" out there on the net. And here we are now...

Anyway, a lot of new people signed up recently, so I will have to keep this short (and amazingly identical). There used to be Pesterers to pester you for poetry, but who knows if that will happen. Even though you may not be pestered, if you do post an original poem--usually haiku but any (clean) type is accepted--written by you, you may also receive a gift in return. The "gift" may be useless or fatal, but it's a surprise. Lastly, the pestering is the tradition here, not the poetry.
