Bashzilla here.... I've been happily reading Sluggy since the days when Pete was still learning to draw. It amazes me that Oasis was there from so early on. How much of the whole story arc did Pete have in his head at the beginning? I'm looking forward to more Sluggy !

I don't remember where I read it, but Pete said that Oasis's arc was one of the first things he came up with when creating the comic. Of course with many authors, it wouldn't of been extremely detailed. She dies and comes back; fire follows her around; a mysterious corporation keeps trying to capture her; corporation finds her secret and turns her into a weapon...

If this is the end of Oasis's arc, or of Hereti Corp's, we don't have to worry, there are still many more stories to be told.

Anyway, a lot of new people signed up recently, so I will have to keep this short (and amazingly identical). There used to be Pesterers to pester you for poetry, but who knows if that will happen. Even though you may not be pestered, if you do post an original poem--usually haiku but any (clean) type is accepted--written by you, you may also receive a gift in return. The "gift" may be useless or fatal, but it's a surprise. Lastly, the pestering is the tradition here, not the poetry.
