No, actually. I was using the nick "Wyldefyre" for a while, but that has the disadvantage of being unimaginitive. I was creating a signup for America's Army, but "Wyldefyre" was already taken. I looked around my desktop, and saw one of those foam "Snafooz" puzzles that forms a cube when put together. I got it from the Caterpillar booth at a career fair, so it has the "CAT" logo on it. Quod erat demonstrandum.

Since then, I've used CatCube as my nick, because as your question indicates, it's pretty unique.

I've been meaning to take a picture of the cube for a long time now to make an avatar, but I don't have a digital camera, and I forget to bring it with me to the office.
