I'm going to have to take an extended leave... since I'm not really getting much done in my life. Sitting around here's not helping. Sorry this is so sudden, guys, but it all caught up with me again.

Well, the time is finally here. the progidal king of gnomes has returned! (Not affiliated with 6-foot leaping irish gnomes, or any of theose riddiculus ones you see on TV)
After a long absence, I have finally finished re-analyizing my life. I realized that not only is chicken soup good for the soul, it is also good for dumping down the pants of martian ocelots.

Wow. I think that is a record. I got off topic in, what, two sentences?

Anyway, I am back to posting. I won't be able to post a lot, but at least it is something, as opposed to sitting in my house staring at my blank screened- internet impaired PC.

I great news for myself: I'm starting work on a Cultural Resource Management project tomorrow. This means that I get to be paid a fair amount of money to dig holes in the ground, which is pretty awesome. It also means that I will be living in a Super 8 (classy, I know) for the next six weeks. I'll maybe be on here on weekends a little, but you guys should really get used to not seeing me for a while. So, basically, I win, you guys all lose. Unless you happen to not like me, in which case you win also. Catch y'all later.

This is Spiffy... I have been gone from the forums for many a year indeed... also for about 2 years... 2003 was the year of my leaving. Meantime, there were two times when I caught up to the current point of sluggy comics, only to fall back into not reading them... This, shall be the last. Even as I return to the forums, I swear to return to my old ways... Of reading the newest comic everday instead of reading 500 to catch up to today... YES!!!
