Hiyo! It's been a mighty might long time since I was a part of sluggy.net, but recently I rejoined, and have posted... maybe twice? Right, I used to be known as Themandownhere, way way way back, but I forgot the password and all the rest of it, so I gave up.
Like Axel, I'm studying at the University of Southampton, Hampshire, England... and the rest of it. I study first year Computer Science, and I'm loving it!
I'm a furry, I'm the vocalist for a ska band, and I'm an alchoholic in the making. It's good to be back...
I've been reading Sluggy since about early 2000, and I'm sorry to say, I'm addicted.

Hello, and welcome to the boards! Your mini-bio there would make a fantastic subject for a song. There aren't enough ska hits about alcoholic furry CS majors.

Welcome to the boards, Drudwyn. Another So'ton-based Sluggite, huh? I wonder how many more of us there are around. There was a guy who joined up about a year ago who was studying at the Institute, but I haven't heard anything from him for a while.

What's it like in Skaville, UK? What kind of ska band are you in? Do you have a website or anything? In Indiana we've got two excellent ska bands, one of them is third wave and one of them is more traditional. I'm thinking I'm going to start a 2 Tone style band in the vein of Madness to bridge the gap a bit. I probably won't get around to it until this summer, though.

Skaville is pretty rockin... we're a 9 piece Old school ska band... but we tend to get bored, so we have a couple of more hardcore songs... we're a new band, so we've not got a 'site yet...
And yes, I shall have to write a ska song about furry alcholism... sounds fun :P
