I just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm an engineering student. I'm Canadian, but I grew up in Saudi Arabia, and I think Sluggy Freelance is awesome.

Welcome! A Canadian in Saudi Arabia, that's quite a childhood. Are you still there now?

I've been back in Canada for a for a few years, but my family just moved back recently, after a terrorist attack occured a fifteen minute drive from where we lived. One of those signs it's time to leave.

Hello, IronShark. I've a friend who lived in Saudi for a while. Here, have a drink, which, now your're not in S.A., you won't have to keep secret!
*Gives a beverage of your choice.*
Cheers!

Well, we usually ask for a haiku, since it's one of the simplest poetry forms, but if you want to do another kind, you're more than welcome to.

Well here goes my lame attempt at a haiku...
Iron Shark I am

Cool. Flying in the face of the "Geographic Assumptions" thread, if he's/she's 20(ish) years old, I have a decent chance of knowing him, as the vast majority of expats live in a few compounds. I've lived in Dharan, Abqaiq, and Udhaliyah, so I'd put odds at around 50%

Don't remember that name. Oh well, it was worth a shot.
