My random theory is that they get zap to difficult time periods in this world and will end up in this world Timeless Zone (?) And meet up with a younger BunBun who still has his memories. In the end, copies of theirselves stay behind and Torg and Zoe have a son who becomes whats-his-name.

Spec: Riffraft is renamed Shankriff in the new future that they end up in.
I have no spec into whether they (Shankraft and Daiyu) remain good, bad, or dead in the future though. Just that the company gets bigger and is renamed.

I think they will still be in the anima world after this second zapping. There are still things to learn about the animae.

It certainly LOOKS like they are advancing in time. It's still possible they are popping around between worlds where the natives all look alike and there are animae, and the so-far advancing state of civilization is just coincidence. If some remnant of Riffraft is recorded in this world's history, that would cinch it. There are several mysteries still not answered. What the monsters are and why. The Animoon (which I don't remember seeing in Animadieval World). How the sorceress was able to weaponize her anima. (Even the ones that are red to seers don't do that.) And, of course, why the DFA remote is behaving this way.

I'm anticipating one more planned (rather than run away) jump to get further into the future.
That way riff will be able to find more advanced technology to diagnose and fix the DFA.

I think I'm more surprised that no one in the strip seemed to figure out "where" they went after the first time jump.

Seems like they're jumping around in time in the same dimension. It's a little too obvious, which is why I think it's not quite right or there's some wrinkle to it that makes it a little different from straight forward time travel. They could still simply be jumping around in space to areas of different degrees of progression in the same time, for example, though that seemed more probable after the first jump than it does now.

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar, and a straightforward time jump is simply that. KikiDee wrote: VcSaJen wrote: Evolution, Elevation... Take bets on the next subchapter name: Evaluation? Oooh, I wonder.
Could this (cup of Jo) be an anima's version of plastic surgery? Have they learned how to make them tangible in this time?
I hope so, for Jo's personality's sake.

Lots of time jumps happening! A thousand years, then probably a few weeks. Zoe's made a friend, it seems, or at least an acquaintance.
