Who knows, it's still possible! The biggest surprise honestly is that this subchapter didn't end full chapter. Nothing like a culmination that doesn't culminate!

Well, no story ends at the highest point. It drops down a bit. Like Troloria's jaw. Maybe the next chapter will have somebody pick that up.

Or maybe it is over. Maybe their next leap will be the leap home.

But Dr. Sam Beckett continued leaping indefinitely... perhaps they will too. ;-) But truly, I've been wondering what is there for them to return home to. Aylee, yes, and I suppose any number of things could have happened. They'll always have more work to do.

You know......for an almighty being, she doesn't seem too picky on what she needs from a muse. We know she wants otherworldly experience. But other than that, it looks like troloria is willing to be inspired by ANYTHING.
Definitely makes you suspicious.

Definitely makes you suspicious. I'd figure the "I choose you for X quality" is actually just her trying to butter up the target.

Resoluteness? Independence?
I don't think those would be good things for Troloria though.

Speculation: Torg and Gwynn will encounter a bird of the species that had anima 25K years ago. It will have no anima, just as they don't. Gwynn will take that as permission to consider it fair game, out of recent experience. Torg will not and will try to communicate.

This note doesn't qualify as a spec, but any answer to it might. When they first arrived in Anima World (now Ex-Anima World?) there was a language barrier with the natives (humanoid and avian). After first jump forward, and every time since, there was none (with any species). Offhand, I can't think of a time when any other fluxxing didn't leave the arrival(s) speaking the native tongue. Have there been? If not, why was that one different?

"Crap."
Zoe seemed to be looking at Maya when she said that, but why? I see two possible scenarios:
1) She saw something ominous, such as a resurgent anima.
2) She just realized that with Torg and Gwynn going off to "meat-forage", she is the only one left to talk to Maya.
Honestly, I'm hoping for #2. :)

My assumption is that once the gang learned their language, we switched to star wars mode and treated the foreign language as English What are the chances do you think that the Moon Anima is still there?
