So after today's comic it almost seems that there is only ONE Kusari, and "she" jumps between Sasha-bodies. Maybe. Sniper-Sasha didn't have the personality Kusari-Sasha had.

But then again… Gwynn's visions during that time have been remarkably cryptic with several curveballs. Over the years (especially the earlier years) Sasha's "3" theme and how/whether it ties in with the juggling strip has been a major unresolved mystery of the strip. Others may have a different memory of it all, but my recollection is that the debates have always been focused on "Who is #1?" (Gwynn was the most prominently specc'd) and "Who is #2?," whereas Sasha as #3 was taken as a given due to the recurring motif. The idea that the "three pins" could refer to something other than three separate people was less discussed, if at all.

For shame CodeBlack. I've been reading and rereading this comic for almost fifteen years and I never caught on to Sasha's three motif. On a lighter note, I randomly ran into this sketch while surfing the strip-highway, and guest-artist Sunday sketch though it was it got me thinking. I wonder if Kusari really did do Sasha's cover job (iirc, in the strip itself we only see her delivering things to the main characters) to keep up appearances. The mental image is hysterical.

And apparently her consciousness can be transferred from one Kusari body to another, one Sasha to another.

Well that confirms the migrating "Kusari" consciousness. And it also appears that the Sasha-bodies not currently inhabited by "Kusari" are unconscious....the one on the space station appears to have gone limp like a puppet with it's strings cut, and is kept in a storage closet. The one in the van was unconscious until "Kusari" returned.
...so who inhabits Sniper-Sasha's body? Or is she the real Sasha?

...so who inhabits Sniper-Sasha's body? Or is she the real Sasha? I don't think so. It really looked to me like SniperS and KusariS were sharing the same thoughts. Maybe they can share easily when in close proximity, but to activate another far away they need to shut one down. Maybe only x# are active at one time (we see 2 here, but there could be more active) and to activate an additional they have to shut down one. The whole captured in China thing implied that Kusari wasn't at peak performance - maybe that's because of distance?

And just think, that guest artist's brother became the new voice of Crow in the MST3K revival

It’s in the past and unimportant now, really, but given what we know about her now I wonder if Sasha actually died of her injuries during the Clone Saga when the cast tossed her into the hospital, and just returned with a new body after a cover up?
Again, meaningless wondering, but still interesting to think about.

THAT POD ... nevermind. I thought these were related but I guess they look a lot more different than I remembered them.

So..."limited resource" means "only three at a time" perhaps?
And Military-Sasha referred to "our exposer at the hotel," like it was not one of the Sasha/Kusaris. Wonder if one of the "Sashas" went rogue.
