I have no idea how to have a custom chess set made but it did make me wonder what both sides would look like. We know most of Torg's side but what of Hereti-corp's?

Torg's side: :torg:

King: Riff :riff:
Queen: Oasis :oasis:
Rook-1: Crushestro
Rook-2: Brain digbot (a.k.a. King under the Mountain)
Bishop-1: Aylee :aylee:
Bishop-2: Gwynn :gwynn:
Knight-1: Izzy (Isabella Abato)
Knight-2: Noah Zark (a.k.a Tadius Greasenherr)
Pawn-1: Theresa
Pawn-2: Unknown at this time
Pawn-3: Unknown at this time
Pawn-4: Percy
Pawn-5: Dr. Marcus Chen
Pawn-6: Nash Straw (a.k.a. The Strawman, etc.)
Pawn-7: Sharon Gall
Pawn-8: The Pang Legacy Group

Here's my impression on Hereti-corp's side: (I'll add additional thoughts if I have any)

King: Dr. Irving Schlock
Queen: Kusari
Rook-1: Frog
Rook-2: Roberts
Bishop-1: Sasha :sasha:
Bishop-2: Chief Dan
Knight-1: Dr. Shankraft
Knight-2: Dr. Biyu Daiyu
Pawn-1: Agent/Conductor Drake
Pawn-2: Agent Tyler
Pawn-3: Dr. Newguy
Pawn-4: Dr Dee
Pawn-5: McCasa
Pawns 6 to 8 might just be generic Hereti-corp personnel.

Any thoughts?

My first gut reaction is that Roberts is too high. Yes, he has Seniority as an HC board member, but he has never really been strategically valuable. I see him more as a Knight or even a pawn and would probably move up Sasha to Rook. I know the Rooks in this scheme have more of a support/logistics role, but Sasha is probably a very good planner.

I see Dan as more of a Knight given the likelihood that he will be sacrificed.... xD

and the Doctos Shankraft and Daiyu as the bishops.

I don't really have any good ideas as to the second Knight though.

We saw Schlock's triangle... He KNOWS that Oasis is "key" just as much as Torg does. I think she'd be considered Queen by Schock as well.

In most chess games it is a fight to protect the King. In this case, it is a fight to gain the Queen. He who has the Queen in the end wins.

This is Sluggy Chess after all - and Sluggy rules (read that last phrase however you want to)....

Well, we already have Sluggy Pawnz.
That's a chess set right there

Personally, I would prefer a chess set made up of heroes vs villains picked from the whole run of Sluggy, not just the current players.

Now, now, let's be fair. Credit to Bun-Bun for the idea of a Sluggy-themed chess set: http://sluggy.com/comics/archives/daily/990211
