I see much of Sluggy coming across as a distorted interpretation of Shakespeare's works. This is partly because of the fact that both authors were putting their visions of the beast that calls itself Man and thus their works are, of course, something of cousins to each other. It may also be partially be because William's works have reshaped human society to a degree and the echos and shadows of his plays come out in everything. No matter. Not, at least, for my purposes.

An example can be seen with Torg from the day he first bore a blood-gorged Chaz. I see, by accident or interference, a correlation between the deeds of those days and the darkest of plays... Titus Andronicus. If you know not of what I speak, pour yourself a stiff drink and enlighten yourself. I am limited in what I can say here for fear of breaking set rules. The two works looked close until Torg set aside vengence and broke the rules.

I am thinking on this as applies to Bun-Bun... but much of the plot is as of yet left unbound. I actually see connections with half a dozen play, not the least of which being Macbeth.

Nothing will come of nothing: speak again.

Little thing known about Bun-Bun, not 100% sure if someone has already posted this...
Bun bun has a rather large sum of money from a Black-Market-Viagra-shipping-Ring, however it is all in a Swiss Bank account. So he has no access to it

Who's to say he never figured out how to access it? He had to be paying Squishydodo and the elves with something.

I don't think he ever paid them... I think they worked for him more out of fear than anything else.

Anyway merry Chistmas dudes... happy Hanukkah... and a super Kwanzaa

Bun bun has discussed getting various payoffs in the past (on the beach just prior to "Snowfinger"), and has also robbed several banks and regularly just takes people's wallets as he sees fit. I doubt the Rabbit has any financial problems. :P

Heck, I'm guessing some of those payoffs were from the mafia to HIM.

You know, even with everything else out there, Bun-Bun still has an attachment to those old Baywatch tapes. I've obviously got nothing against Baywatch, but his obsession seems to transcend the normal boundaries.
Could Pamela Anderson be Bun-Bun's time-lost true mother?
Only problem: Her ears aren't the part of her that's hilariously oversized.

One issue with the baywatch tapes being brought back into the light has me worried: how far is bun bun in organizing those? remember, at the end of on the run, he vowed to kill them all on principle even after they gave him new tapes, but was forced to indefinitely postpone the killing because it turned out none of the tapes were labeled.

Even with the distractions from the Holidays and the OU, I'm willing to bet he's made some headway..

No, he watched the tapes and labeled them all in one weekend. It's just that thanks to watching them all one right after the other, he's calmed down.

I'd shy away from speculating on "why is bun-bun so strong". The answer isn't going to be enchantment or nanites or anything like that- any of that stuff would degrade him a bit. As far as I'm concerned, what he IS is a kickass mini-lop with a switchblade and a glock- the real questions are where has he been and what's he been doing.

By the way, pet rabbits are naturally mean as hell.

In the words of Pruitt from Hell's Fair "Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil, FOR I AM THE BADDEST BUNNY IN THE VALLEY"
Thank you John Ringo.
As for the strength, that is a mystery wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in a dilema, as is most of Bun Bun. :bunbun: But we speculate, oh do we speculate.

Something important to remember here: Bun-Bun IS a cartoon character. There's an excellent chane a lot of his characteristics are part of that, and therefore not part of spec. One example would be "Where does he pull his glock and switchblade from with no pockets?" Toontrait. Not a valid spec-point.

Except... given the drift of the strip since the beginning, from "gag-a-day" to "deep fantasy stories with sprinkly-bits of daily humor on top"... it's entirely possible Pete will retcon a "rational" explaination for that, too.

Mr. "Hang on tight... we're EVOLVING!!!" Jest

That's simple to answer. Bun Bun hides all his weaponry under his fur. Also, he uses his switchblade more often than he does the Glock. (Come to think of it, Bun Bun hasn't used the Glock in a while.)

That is because it is somewhere in the DoL. Last used by Alt-Bun.

Ah, but Torg said just before the auto-return zapped him back there that Bun-Bun had them stashed all over the house. And if he did find it missing, I highly doubt he would let a day go by without getting a new one.
