I think he means the female in Panel 7, on the far right. But no, I don't think it's Dan Met. I could be wring, but I doubt it.

We'd probably be about as justified in declaring the fellow next to her to be Jaspers, having recovered from his head wound.

Compare. She's got the shades, the plain hair, and the jumpsuit with the broad stripe down the front.

Now, granted, the newspaper said that their ship blew up on re-entry, but come on—these geeks turned into serious geniuses. Maybe they built a time-ship instead.

Ah, Dan-Met wasn't wearing a jumpsuit with a broad stripe, but rather a waistcoat and sleeveless shirt (and they were pretty tattered on her last appearance). Also, her hair looks rather different and the glasses were less opaque.

I think it's just supposed to be a background character in the OU comic.
