Lets take a look at Noga's crew. There's Johnason the troll, and the overall creepy Cabin Boy. Both seem to have a rather odd manner to them.

What I mean by odd manner is how Unique they are. Pete certainly made Noga's henchman recognizable. Why, though? Do either of them remind you of anyone from Sluggy prime, cause I'm drawing a blank.

Well, just since I love the Emmisary (cabin-boy/geek-with-bazooka/wah, give him a real name!), I actually went looking for anyone who remotely resembled him in Sluggy prime, and only came up with that...RA-ish, I guess...guy from Zoë's college in Nebraska, Ian...but only vaguely. I don't draw any connections further than slight appearance. As for Johnason...uh, Lodoze? lol, whoops, that's not Sluggy prime...oh well. ^_^;;

If they show up in the regular Sluggy world, maybe it wasn't an event that already occurred, but has yet to occur in the scheme of things. *shrug*

Tying 2 posts together here. What if Noga is Gwynn's mother, and the emmisary is Gwyns father? Just going with the urge to evil, and the bad eyesight.

well, Gwynn is related to Trudy Trueheart of GPF fame. she is without a doubt, 'downright scary' and i do seem to recall hearing this to be semi-cannon at least, but have long since lost my sources on this one.

I remember reading that the guest artists are not cannon, but I could be wrong. And besides, I think that Trudy and Gwynn are cousins, so Noga is still in the running as Mom.

And if you dont like the Immisary as Dad, it could always be Johannson! That might be a little closer to Noga's taste.

So, how exactly would this work?...unless maybe Noga turned Johnasan into a troll FOR impregnating her...I mean, that's as good a theory as any! ^_- First as punishment, probably... And as for the incentive for sex in the first place, it DOES get lonely in Timeless Space, and boring, when all you're doing is pursuing a ship that you can't seem to catch up to...
