Mini-EMP ref.randomlanguage wrote: erewhon wrote: It should do. Also of note: this isn't the first time Schlock has been dared to pull the trigger… The mini EMP makes sense. With how he feels about Schlock, I don't think he's bluffing.

Nice ref! I completely forgot that Riff already found a portable EMP bomb on the station. In that case, I don't think he's bluffing. :)

Well, he's bluffing in the sense that he has no intention of actually pressing it and is banking on Schlock not having a self-destruct button. After all, if he suspected Schlock was telling the truth, it would've pushed it first, "DOMP"ed later.

Maybe now the differences between Oasis and Kusaha will be settled by non-lethal means such as arm wrestling or a game of Paper, Rock, Scissors (Lizard, Spock).
I know Torg would suggest it...

I know Torg would suggest it... I can see him doing that! Now Schlock has proposed a deal--though what that deal is has yet to be seen. I'm all for everyone living, but any deal he proposes is bound to be skewed in his favor. I don't know what kind of deal Riff would even consider from him.

It's time for Izzy to intervene. She's a computer genius.

I think the last time we saw her may have been when Gwynn and Zoe channeled their inner Riff before they got to the station. However, later Zoe said they couldn't reach her. I think that's the last we've heard from people down there.

I wonder if rebooting the router will turn off the commnication between Schlock and the AI. That would be bad if it takes more than 10 minutes.

What are the odds that it will be rebooting right at the 10 minute mark? I'm thinking they're pretty good.... But I'm not sure what that will mean... I'd hold my breath, but by the time we get back around to find out , I will have passed out....

And then out of nowhere, Torg-in-space-pants will body-slam the DIRE-REA and redirect its weapons right at the DFA, just before its repairs are complete. Huzzah!

Secret passphrase: And you may ask yourself, "How do I work this?" And you may ask yourself, "Where is that large automobile?" And you may tell yourself, "This is not my beautiful house" And you may tell yourself, "This is not my beautiful wife"
Except we didn't get past the first three.

Except we didn't get past the first three. Nice! As I reread it this evening, that rhythm popped into my head, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it until you said it! Hmmm. Maybe Schlock will need Kiki to finish the song!

The second passphrase was 'you can ask yourself', and that alone. It managed to get through just before the router rebooted, so they got 10 minutes for the router to reboot completely
