This may be a simple question, but it could also be worth discussing.

Why is Schlock so worried about being on the ship that he'd treat her so well?

If it's just that she's dangerous, why not eject her into space like everyone else?
He was ready to flux the ship she was on earlier...

I feel like there are some implications beyond just the danger Gwynn puts him in.

Was when Aylee burst out of the ground really the last time Gwynn and Schlock were together in a strip?

You also have to take into account the last time Gwynn and Sasha were together.

Well, after seeing Gwynn in today's strip, would YOU eject her into space??

Besides, I have the funnies feeling Gwyn could, at least for a time, survive exposure to vacuum. As long as she had time to see it coming and get a spell off...

Besides-sides, Schlock's had a "thing" for her from the beginning.
Or does he think he could turn her to his side? Awfully foolish and arrogant of him if he does. I don't think she's the slightest bit amused by his self-justifications at all. He can ACT the victim, but Gwynn aint buyin' it, I don't think (which is normal for me anyway...).

New Theory here: HC was holding onto Chaz as an "interesting" artifact. Considering all the space vehicles are inflatable, I would think bringing a pointy object aboard would warrant a really high value on the item. Chaz is most likely magic. So is Gwynn. Synthia La'Morte was interested in fate magic and is possibly what Oasis was cloned from. Oasis is outside the fate web.

I think this all adds up to Dr. Schlock having a real interest in magic, and thus Gwynn.
