That didn't take long. The mob wasn't exactly quiet, though.
So what does she(?) gain from this? Is the goal merely escape, or can one actually begin stealing animae here?

No Riff, its not "quiet".
They have got to work on their chants. Too many syllables my guys. Meanwhile Torg can't consider nothing as he is in the dark about what he did.

Nope, still seems silly that they would listen to a mass murderer that their god is actively punishing for all eternity.

The other members of the gang must surely compensate for Torg! At least the contributions should make it even. Also, who knows what mental trick Cupidine has, even with a small anime.

Cupidine must have retained some of her psychic powers mind control. They would have been in a pretty suggestable state following their intoxication. Webfoot wrote: CheeseWhisper wrote: That didn't take long. The mob wasn't exactly quiet, though.

Poor Torg! The subject of mass anger against him merely because he had most of his long bones broken and can't work a farm. Now they want to put him into a cage and make him stare at the heavens for his failure.
Imagine what they would do to any webcomic artists in their society ...

I don’t think it’s considered political when the majority of the population is doing it (besides, this kind of madness affects people of many ideological stripes). But hey, how about those crazy Trolorians? Do they not have any other old/infirm types who can’t do hard physical labor?

My family uses 12 rolls a day! *eyeroll* Yeah, I wonder if they've been implementing a carrousel. Or maybe old people simply don't live on the farm. As may be more likely....

So you're saying that people are reinterpreting the words of their deity to suit their own preferences and biases? *Bites lip* I just love that their chant is simply demanding Torg to give thought to his actions. Is this flux worthy?

Come to think of it, when was the last time we saw an elderly Trolorian? I don't recall any in the "noir" time period... were there any in the medieval time? Or does it go all the way back to the old shamaness when they first arrived?
