Riff looks scared when explaining to Kiki, but his anima reveals that he just wants to scare her. Bad Riff! I mean, bad anima.
If there were no locks and no money I'd be eating the most expensive chocolate all day long. I wonder if anyone in the anima world got that idea.

Yeah look at the previous strip. When he found Torg's mime poster, Riff curled up in a fetal position on the floor. That's not Riff's normal reaction to anything. He must really hate clowns. But both Riff and Torg have dressed as clowns before, and there was commander clown in the kittens episode, and none of that seemed to bother Riff...

Aside from there not being a price since there isn't any money, you don't have the choice of getting "the most expensive thing". You just get the same thing everyone else gets.

That doesn't necessarily mean that you can just ask and receive unlimited amounts of chocolate, though.
