Hedgedale might need a new set of underwear, though...
Darn lucky Torg got it. I don't see Riff's laser cannon anywhere handy.
Does the King-Monster's head look weird to you? Almost like it's split in two? It almost looks fake...

I think that last panel calls for a "Whuh-oh."

I guessed there would be another monster before I noticed it had been crammed into the last panel all along.

Guess this fight isn't over. Some kind of decoy? Or the monster is still alive and shrugs the balista hit off?
Perharps the laser cannon is still needed...

Perharps the laser cannon is still needed... Well looking at the panel after it got hit, that doesn't really look like enough damage to put down a monster of that size, at least not immediately. It would be kind of boring if they just used the laser cannon and won, but this is a side story and there are plenty of other threads to follow right now.

The monster's eye in the last panel looks different (madder) than in the "CRASH" panel. If I was Torg I'd make sure the thing was *dead* before I worried about assigning points.

What does Riff mean with "that fast"? garyfritz wrote: The monster's eye in the last panel looks different (madder) than in the "CRASH" panel. If I was Torg I'd make sure the thing was *dead* before I worried about assigning points. I was thinking the same. Also, the mouth is to the left, so the head is turned to the right. That's the opposite to how it fell two panels earlier. It could be just one of those details that readers put too much significance in, bt....
