Somehow Biyu doesn't look like herself. And I don't mean just the longer tentacles.
I wonder if she was that much a believer in "negative energy" back in Sluggy Prime-world? Or if that's something she developed based on observation in anima-land?
I wonder what the villagers thought of this tentacled madwoman, before they found out she was a healer? There must have been a lot of tongues wagging in town when all these bizarre outsiders rolled into town, talking about Biyu and everything else about our crew...
And BTW if Shankraft doesn't like Frog's optician skills, he ought to shut up and do it himself. He's the one with the science background and opposable thumbs, after all.

Ooh... when's the last time Kiki actually said "stay good?" It feels like it's been a while.

Is this the first comic in which Biyu speaks more than one line and does not refer to her village?
I think Gwynn's previous comment about self-deception was foreshadowing something. Biyu seems like a prime candidate for delusion. She's got tentacles growing out of her and insists she's fine. She probably really does believe she's helping Zoe.

Biyu has mastered the art of convincing herself that she speaks the truth. No way she gave up the experimental lust. Ha!

See e.g. panel 1, panel 5, this whole comic (very chatty but she was under the influence of heavy experimental drugs), last panel, etc.
